JOHANNESBURG - A fifth woman’s body has been discovered in the Kempton Park area, raising further concern as police investigate a number of deaths involving women in the area.
The body was found on Monday. The discovery follows the deaths of four other women whose bodies were found in the Kempton Park vicinity over the past two months.
Police are believed to be making their way to the scene as investigations get underway. Details surrounding the latest discovery, including the woman’s identity and the circumstances of her death, have not yet been confirmed.

The latest development comes as police intensify efforts to locate missing jogger Elizabeth “Tsontso” Moselakgomo, who disappeared last week after leaving her home for an afternoon run.
Her disappearance has heightened concerns in the area, with authorities continuing to search for her.
The South African Police Service’s (SAPS) national multidisciplinary team is also expected to meet on Monday as efforts to address the cases and locate the missing woman continue.
