JOHANNESBURG - Five men are expected to appear before the Vereeniging magistrate’s court on Thursday in connection with a hijacking, kidnapping and murder.
The five were arrested after the bodies of two missing women were discovered in Poortjie near Orange Farm last week.
The women were reported missing in December after one of the victims’ mothers received a ransom demand.
Their partially decomposed bodies were found in an open veld.
The men were arrested after police traced one of the victim's vehicles to a car wash.
Police said an unlicensed firearm was also found.
