CAPE TOWN - Five people have been killed and three others wounded in a shooting in Lavender Hill, on the Cape Flats.
Police said the victims were drinking at a house in Blonde Street at around 8pm on Saturday, when gunmen burst in and opened fire.
Four men and a woman, aged between 21 and 33, died at the scene. Three others were taken to hospital with gunshot wounds.
Police believe the shooting may be linked to gang violence. The Anti-Gang Unit has launched a manhunt for the suspects.
