GQEBERHA - Five people have died in a horrific crash on the N10 between Gqeberha and Cookhouse.
Two others sustained injuries and were rushed to Andries Vosloo Hospital.
The cause of the crash is not known, but it involved two trucks and a bakkie.
Cookhouse police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
The crash comes as the Transport Minister launched the festive season safety campaign.
Motorists are being urged to be cautious on the roads.
