DURBAN - Floyd Shivambu is no longer the Secretary-General of the uMkhonto weSizwe Party.
The announcement came during a briefing in Durban on Tuesday afternoon, with party leader Jacob Zuma unveiling the latest leadership shake-up. This follows days of speculation and internal friction.
MK Party National chairperson Nkosinathi Nhleko said, "The national officials have come to a decision to redeploy Floyd Shivambu as secretary general and redeploy him to the national assembly.
Zuma addressed the media briefing after the announcements on the internal changes within the MK Party’s structures.
