GQBERHA – An investigation team has been established in the Eastern Cape following the gruesome discovery of four bodies in Gqeberha.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Siphokazi Mawisa confirmed the bodies of four male victims aged between 20 and 30, all with gunshot wounds, were discovered at G-West, Walmer.
“The circumstances surrounding the incident form part of the ongoing investigation. In an effort to identify possible witnesses, police conducted enquiries in the surrounding areas with no positive results. No arrest has been made.
“Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious or who may have information that could assist the police to come forward. Anyone with information is urged to contact the investigating team leader of the Provincial Serious and Violent crimes Unit (SVCU), Lieutenant Colonel Monde Sithole on 082 457 2812 or the nearest police station or alternatively call SAPS Crime Stop at 08600 10111.”
