CAPE TOWN - Four men have been killed and another wounded in a shooting incident in Lotus River, Cape Town.
The incident happened on Thursday night at the corner of Nita and Olga streets.
It is alleged the five men were sitting in front of a residential block of flats when a vehicle with a group of men emerged and opened fire.
Four men aged between 32 and 44 were declared dead at the scene. One was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The killings come as police deployments in the area have been reinforced in an effort to fight crime and gang-related incidents.
Police believe the attack stems from ongoing gang rivalries. No arrests have been made yet.
