Four killed in separate KZN road crashes

DURBAN - Four people have been killed in separate crashes on KwaZulu-Natal roads, as continued rainfall and poor visibility make driving conditions hazardous.

Two people were killed when a truck and a car collided on the N2 near uMkhuze. An infant was also injured in the crash.

In a separate incident, two other people died, and two others were injured on the R66, about five kilometres past the RTI Offices in Gingindlovu, in the direction of Eshowe.

Authorities have cited poor visibility and persistent rainfall as contributing factors to the high number of crashes.
