Four suspects arrested in missing journalist case

JOHANNESBURG - There has been a breakthrough in the disappearance of journalist Aserie Ndlovu and his partner, Zodwa Mdhluli.

Police have arrested four persons of interest, following a cross-province operation led by senior SAPS Gauteng and Mpumalanga officers.

One of the suspects is believed to be the last person seen with the couple, while others were found with vehicle parts linked to Ndlovu's car.

The case has been moved from a missing persons inquiry to one of kidnapping and hijacking.

Police say the search for the missing couple and additional suspects continues.
