BOTSHABELO - A 14-year-old Grade 7 pupil is facing a disciplinary hearing for allegedly sexually harassing a teacher at a school in Botshabelo in the Free State.
It's alleged he tried to inappropriately touch the 32-year-old teacher on school premises on Wednesday.
The provincial education department said the teacher is unwell and remains off duty.
It has since provided her with psychosocial support.
The pupil will appear before a disciplinary committee on Thursday.
Police are investigating the matter.
