JOHANNESBURG - As preparations ramp up for the G20 Summit, homeless communities in Gauteng are being forced off the streets with nowhere to go.
Shelters say no plans have been made to accommodate the growing numbers.
The Social Development Department, however, says there are ongoing campaigns to address the country's homelessness issue.
Many homeless people remain on the streets, hoping these services reach them during the G20 and beyond.
