JOHANNESBURG – Mayor Dada Morero says the clean-up across Johannesburg is not a once-off event occurrence.
This follows criticism that the recent efforts were aimed at impressing international visitors who would be attending the G20 Leaders Summit rather than addressing residents’ daily concerns.
Morero says his administration is focused on fixing turning the wheels of service delivery in the City.

"I said that when I came into office has capacity to turn around the city. I also said that part of my work was to ensure that i deal with constraints in the management teams so that I can unblock what has been making them not to move as managers and leaders. It is a management issue," he says.
Morero promises ongoing service delivery with upgrades expected to resume on Tuesday.
