JOHANNESBURG - A Yellow Level 2 warning for heavy rains and damaging winds remains in place for Gauteng.
This after storms battered parts of the province on Wednesday.
Several bridges are submerged and roads remain closed.

Weltevreden Park, Strubens Valley, Newlands, and Randpark Ridge have been affected.
Emergency Services are urging residents to exercise extreme caution on the roads.
