JOHANNESBURG - Minister in the Presidency Khumbudzo Ntshavheni will on Tuesday lead a government delegation in Ekurhuleni as part of the Love Your Street service delivery programme.
The visit comes amid community concerns about service delivery and growing anger over the murders of women in the metro.
Government says the initiative aims to promote cleaner, safer communities while encouraging residents to play an active role in improving their neighbourhoods.
The delegation’s first stop is Kwa-Thema in Springs, where a woman’s body was among those recently discovered across Gauteng.
The visit is expected to focus on service delivery challenges, community safety and cooperation between government and residents.
