JOHANNESBURG - Social movement Abahlali baseMjondolo is taking to the streets in protest against the growing number of women being murdered in Ekurhuleni.
The protest comes after another woman’s body was discovered in Springs on Sunday, bringing the number of women found dead in the area to 11.
The woman was found naked in an open veld, with what appeared to be signs of head injuries.
Meanwhile, police have arrested a suspect in connection with the death of another woman whose body was found at Mooifontein Cemetery in Thembisa.
