DURBAN - Support for KwaZulu-Natal police commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi is building, with civil society groups and citizens to march in Durban.
The “Hands Off Mkhwanazi” demonstration follows similar ones by the MK Party on Monday outside the KwaZulu-Natal police headquarters and in Johannesburg.
Mkhwanazi sent shockwaves through South Africa by implicating Police Minister Senzo Mchunu and senior officers in organised crime.
A commission of inquiry, led by Deputy Chief Justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga, will investigate his claims.
