CAPE TOWN - MK Party MP David Skosana said President Cyril Ramaphosa should also fire himself.
A few minutes before his appearance in Parliament on Thursday, Ramaphosa also announced the axing of Sisisi Tolashe as Social Development Minister.
"We welcome the firing, but the only problem we have with President Ramaphosa, he can fire anyone, but he can't fire himself," Skosana said.
"He's defending, he's tying everything in the book. He must fire himself as well."
Ramaphosa will face MPs in a question-and-answer session.
It will be his first visit to Parliament since the Constitutional Court ruled that the National Assembly’s Phala Phala report vote was unconstitutional and invalid.
Skosana said sparks will fly when Ramaphosa appears in the National Assembly.
"As far as that is concerned, I think sparks will fly. Let's see what's going to happen today. But the president must fire himself," he said.
