CAPE TOWN - The City of Cape Town reports widespread flooding across the metro following severe stormy weather.
Heavy rainfall and gale winds have battered the Cape Peninsula.
Assessments for damage are still being made in flood-hit communities, including Nyanga, Brown’s Farm and Parkwood.
Cape Town's disaster management centre says road and storm teams are being deployed where needed.
