DURBAN - Fadiel Adams has landed in Durban, and this time he said he was not transported in the back of a police van.
The National Coloured Congress leader is due back in the Pinetown Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
He faces charges of fraud and defeating the administration of justice.
Adams said he expects his court appearance to be brief.
“According to the attorneys, we're just here for a postponement and further particulars being the case. So, it should be a quick in, quick out,” he said.
Adams' charges relate to his alleged interference in the Sindiso Magaqa murder probe.
The state alleges that Adams visited Magaqa's killer, Sibusiso Ncengwa, who he was in custody at Westville Correctional Facility during his trial.
