DELFT - An 11-year-old child was killed and two others were injured after a police van allegedly drove into them this weekend.
The children were outside a spaza shop at Delft in the Western Cape.
Residents say the van was speeding and claim alcohol bottles were found inside.
Outraged residents want the officers held accountable, and Ipid is investigating.
Community leader Tyelovuyo Mjayezi said it's a tragedy.
"We are looking for justice," he said.
