JOHANNESBURG - Murder-accused businessman Katiso 'KT' Molefe is heading to the High Court in Johannesburg to appeal his bail denial.
Molefe is accused of orchestrating hits on popular musicians DJ Sumbody and DJ Vintos in 2022 and whistleblower Armand Swart in April 2024.

The State says ballistic evidence shows that firearms linked to Molefe may have been used to carry out multiple high-profile contract killings.
Explosive testimony at the Madlanga Commission also identified Molefe as an alleged member of a crime cartel called the 'Big 5'.
Molefe was denied bail at the Alexandra magistrate's court after being deemed a flight risk for previously using a fake passport to travel abroad.
