PRETORIA - The defence in the Senzo Meyiwa trial is accusing a police witness of pushing the state's narrative.
SAPS cellphone data analyst Moses Mabasa is being cross-examined over images found on cellphones.
At the root of the argument is a picture of accused Mthobisi Mncube with a gold tooth.

But, the defence is drilling into why the date of the picture seems to have changed.
There are also issues with the positioning of the tooth, which the analyst says is because the pic was reversed.
But, the defence took issue with his testimony, calling him a 'hired gun' for the state.
