MTHATHA - Three years ago, Namhla Mtwa was brutally murdered in Mthata.
eNCA has seen a police report revealing that the case, once handled by the National Task Team, has been plagued by SAPS administrative interference, inconsistencies and missing statements from the docket.
Mtwa’s sister Sanga Nozintaba is in hiding and fears, as a whistleblower and witness, that her life is in danger.
Nozintaba says she's had to deal with six different investigators, with no one ever arrested.
She says if called to the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry to testify about interference in what is an unsolved high-profile murder case, she'll only do so under strict witness protection rules.
