MOMBASA - A self-proclaimed Kenyan pastor faces more murder charges.
He's accused of encouraging his followers to starve themselves to death to meet Jesus.
Cult leader Paul Mackenzie was arrested in 2023 after 429 bodies, including children, were dug up from mass graves in a remote forest.
Kenya was shocked by the discovery of yet more bodies around 30 kilometres from Shakahola, where the same cult had continued to operate even after the first massacre.
Mackenzie has been in custody since his arrest.
He's accused of luring the latest victims to their deaths through written notes from his prison cell.
