PRETORIA - Former Defence Minister Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula is back at the High Court in Pretoria for her corruption trial.
She is accused of soliciting bribes from Nombasa Ntsondwa-Ndlovu in return for defence contracts.
The businesswoman is the state's key witness in the R4.5-million bribery trial.
She is under cross-examination after testifying that she feared for her life when the scandal became public.
The defence argues this is just a ploy to paint Mapisa-Nqakula as heartless and immoral.
The court heard the former Minister threatened to clear funds from a defence tender account if her demands for money were not met.
