CAPE TOWN - Khayelitsha residents are taking their demands for better services and reliable electricity to Parliament.
It comes after the Public Protector found the City of Cape Town had neglected the area for years.
She found that shortcomings in housing, sanitation, and water were due to maladministration and prejudice.
Residents also say parts of Khayelitsha have been without power for almost four months.
The community took their complaints to Parliament last September but says little has changed.
