KZN ANC confident about reconfiguration

INANDA - ANC Chair Gwede Mantashe is confident efforts to undermine the party in KZN will not succeed.

It comes as the party reconfigures that province's structures after a poor showing at the polls.

Mantashe says renewal is needed to ensure the same doesn't happen in the local government elections.

He was leading the 79th commemoration of the life and legacy of the ANC's founding President, John Langalibalele Dube in Inanda on Saturday.

The ANC Youth League in the province says the party must concentrate on strengthening its branches and securing by-election victories if it wants to come out stronger in next year's local government elections.
