KZN Education primed for matric exams

DURBAN - Despite crippling financial problems, KZN Education says it’s ready to administer matric exams.

Nearly 200,000 matrics will write exams in the province, a 3 percent increase from last year.

MEC Sipho Hlomuka is assuring markers and other personnel that they will be paid on time.

Officials have set an ambitious target of at least 95 percent pass rate.
