DURBAN - KZN Premier Thami Ntuli is standing by the province’s top cop.
He’s thrown his weight behind Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, calling him a man of principle and integrity.
It follows Mkhwanazi's bombshell briefing on Sunday.

The province's top cop has accused Police Minister Senzo Mchunu of interfering in investigations, and protecting criminal syndicates.
Ntuli says the police in KZN are going the extra mile to fight crime, and he trusts that the concerns raised by Mkhwanazi are serious and valid.
