KZN weather | Durban cleans up after heavy rains

DURBAN - Residents and authorities in eThekwini have been busy cleaning up after heavy rains along the coast.

The downpours battered parts of KwaZulu-Natal after a Yellow Level 4 weather alert for severe thunderstorms.

Besides fallen trees, emergency services were kept busy by road accidents caused by the wet weather.

The eThekwini Disaster Management Unit encourages residents to report emergencies as soon as they become aware of them.
