Limpopo taxi operators threaten police, face charges

PRETORIA - Three Limpopo taxi operators are appearing at the Musina magistrate’s court.

They mistakenly stopped police officers, thinking they were transporting hitchhikers.

The trio allegedly confronted the cops, pointed a firearm and threatened to sjambok them.

When the officers identified themselves, the suspects attempted to flee but were caught.

The men face several counts, including pointing a firearm, intimidation, and reckless driving.
