PRETORIA - The Madlanga Commission will on Wednesday hear evidence from National Intervention Unit officer Steve Phakula.
On Tuesday, the Commission heard the testimony of crime analytics officer Marumo Magane.
Magane was quizzed over the 2021 drug bust in Aeroton, Johannesburg, where a truck carrying over 741 kilograms of cocaine was seized by police.
He told the Commission how the crime scene was contaminated by several police officers, leading to charges against the men arrested eventually being dropped.
Magane works as a commander at the Crime Information Management and Analysis Centre.
