PRETORIA - The Madlanga Commission continues to probe the murky links between the taxi industry, the alleged Big Five cartel, and political figures.
On Tuesday, attention turns to taxi boss Bafana Oupa Sindane, who is expected to take the stand and face questions about the industry’s alleged networks and connections.

Sindane’s testimony follows that of his associate and fellow taxi boss, Joe “Ferrari” Sibanyoni.
Sibanyoni has denied having links to corrupt police officers or hiring hitmen. However, during his testimony, he acknowledged having what he described as brotherly relationships with some police officers.
Sindane and Sibanyoni are also co-accused in an extortion and money-laundering case.
