DONDOTHA, KwaZulu-Natal - South Africa's Ambassador to France, Nathi Mthethwa, is being laid to rest at his family's homestead.
President Cyril Ramaphosa has granted Mthethwa a special official funeral category 2.
Ramaphosa is expected to deliver the eulogy for the former Cabinet Minister.
The ambassador was repatriated from France on Friday and transported from eMpangeni to his homestead in KwaMbonambi, KwaZulu-Natal, ahead of his funeral on Sunday.
Mthethwa died two weeks ago after falling from the 22nd floor of a Paris hotel.
