PRETORIA - Former Defence Minister Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula is expected to face tough questioning as her fraud and corruption trial resumes on Wednesday in the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria.
Mapisa-Nqakula has denied receiving bribes from defence contractor Nombasa Ntsondwa-Ndhlovu, but her own testimony includes an admission that she accepted gifts from the defence contractor, including a wig.

The defence contractor claims Mapisa-Nqakula solicited R4.5 million from her, allegedly using code words like “impepho” and “indumba” to disguise payments.
