JOHANNESBURG - The Judicial Inquiry into why recommendations of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission were not implemented is resuming in Johannesburg.
Justice Sisi Khampepe and her team will hear opening statements from survivors and families of apartheid victims.
Families are also expected to respond to former President Jacob Zuma's application to appeal Khampepe's decision to continue as Chairperson.
Zuma and his predecessor, Thabo Mbeki, lost the bid to get Khampepe to recuse herself.
The Commission is trying to get to the bottom of allegations that political interference was behind the delay in prosecuting apartheid-era crimes.
