PRETORIA - The Madlanga Commission will continue to hear testimony from businessman Tumelo Nku on Monday.
Last week, Nku was questioned on why he was carrying R60 000 in cash at the scene of the Aeroton drug bust.
The bust involved the seizure of 715kg of cocaine in Johannesburg in 2021.
It was later revealed in the Commission that 136kg, worth R55 million, of the 715kg of cocaine disappeared from police storage.
Evidence at the Commission revealed that the businessman allegedly tipped off now-suspended Gauteng Traffic Police Inspector Samuel Mashaba.
Controversial forensic investigator Paul O’Sullivan is also expected to testify before the Commission on Monday afternoon.
