PRETORIA - The man who police claim led to a breakthrough in the Senzo Meyiwa murder case insists police used criminal tactics to fabricate a statement on his behalf.
Absalom Zungu maintains he never made a statement implicating two of the accused.
He insists his son and key witness, Constable Sizwe Zungu, and the lead investigator were the ones who manufactured it.
But the state grilled in on some of the facts contained there.
