LUSIKISIKI - The state is expected to call its first witness in the Lusikisiki mass murder trial.
Six men are charged with killing 18 people, mostly women, in an Eastern Cape village.
Mzukisi Ndamase, Aphiwe Ndende, Siphosoxolo Myekethe, Bonga Hintsa, Songezo Vuma, and Mawethu Nomdlembu are in the dock.

The 18 victims, most from the same family, were gunned down in Ngobozana Village last September.
The trial has been set down for eight weeks.
