Luthuli family: Officials colluded to conceal the truth

PIETERMARITZBURG - Chief Albert Luthuli's daughter-in-law, Veleminah Luthuli, has told the High Court in Pietermaritzburg she was the last person to see the anti-apartheid stalwart alive.

Luthuli died in 1967, allegedly after being struck by a train.

The court is hearing evidence in the reopened inquiry into his death.
