Madlanga Commission to hand over second interim report

PRETORIA - The Madlanga Commission is expected to hand over its second interim report to President Cyril Ramaphosa.

It will almost certainly focus on drug cartels and the illicit movement of narcotics.

The inquiry also heard of failures of due process during major drug busts in Gauteng.

Following Friday's handover, the commission is expected to continue investigations from Monday.

It's expected to hand over its final comprehensive report at the end of August.
