PRETORIA - The Madlanga Commission of Inquiry has adjourned for the day.
Crime intelligence head Dumisani Khumalo will not be able to testify due to illness.
Khumalo is the fourth witness to take the stand.

On Tuesday, he took the commission through text messages between police minister Senzo Mchunu’s connection, Brown Mogotsi and attempted-murder accused Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala.
The messages revealed another layer of corruption in the probe of a criminal syndicate that's infiltrated law enforcement.
