PRETORIA - KwaZulu-Natal police boss Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi is expected to shed more light on the alleged rot in the criminal justice system as the Madlanga Commission begins in Pretoria.
President Cyril Ramaphosa established the inquiry after Mkhwanazi's damning claims about criminal infiltration, corruption, and political interference in the criminal justice system.
Mkhwanazi has implicated top police officials and government ministers in organised crime.
The commission, led by former acting Deputy Chief Justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga, will probe these allegations.
