JOHANNESBURG - Justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga has this afternoon outlined the way forward for the Judicial Commission of Inquiry investigating alleged criminality and interference in the criminal justice system.
The commission's establishment follows KZN Police Commissioner, Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi's explosive claims.
Mkhwanazi claimed politicians, including Police Minister Senzo Mchunu, are working with criminal syndicates.
Justice Madlanga says the Commission of Inquiry into Criminality, Political Interference and Corruption in the Criminal Justice System, has started its work in earnest.
He was outlining progress since the commission was established by President Cyril Ramaphosa on 13 July.
- The South African Policing Union spokesperson, Lesiba Thobakgale discussed this with eNCA.
