JOHANNESBURG - The Madlanga Commission says it will lay charges against a person who disclosed the name of an anonymous witness.
The Commission says such action constitutes a criminal offence and undermines the Commission's integrity.
In terms of the Commission's Act and this Commission's regulations, it is a criminal offence to act in a manner that prejudices the business of the Commission.
"Consequently, the Commission is going to institute criminal proceedings against that person. This is a matter that the Commission takes very seriously, and it simply must act in these circumstances," said Commission chairperson Justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga.
