JOHANNESBURG - The Madlanga Commission has dismissed taxi boss Bafana Sindane’s bid for a postponement.
The Commission has ruled that Sindane's evidence must be led on Monday, 28 September, "in whatever format."
Sindane wanted to delay proceedings until 6 October, when the High Court in Pretoria hears his attempt to block the Commission’s subpoena.
He submitted a medical note, claiming he’s unfit to take the stand.
Earlier this week, Sindane's lawyers also told the Commission that his "sacred" sangoma journey and period of spiritual seclusion hindered his immediate availability to take the stand.
