WASHINGTON, DC - US president, Donald Trump accused Maduro of killing hundreds of Americans.
He says Maduro has been trafficking deadly drugs into the United States.
Trump has also confirmed that the US will now take over the running of Venezuela until, what he says, is a time for a safe transition.
Trump did not clarify what it would mean for the US to run Venezuela, however he says the US oil companies were prepared to enter the country.
