PIETERMARITZBURG - The man convicted of killing former ANC Youth League Secretary General Sindiso Magaqa has asked for leniency.
Sibusiso Ncengwa pleaded guilty to participating in the murder earlier this month, implicating political figures as the masterminds behind the plot.
Ncengwa’s lawyer asked for his client's cooperation with the state to be taken into account.
The case has been postponed to 7 July for a sentencing decision.
