CAPE TOWN - A 51-year-old man arrested for the rape of a 9-year-old girl in Hanover Park is expected to appear in court.
Chaos erupted in the Cape Town suburb on Wednesday when the girl was found in a parolee's house.
She was on the way to the Mosque when it's believed a man approached her, asking her to buy milk for him.
Her friend says she obliged but never returned from his house.
A community search found the girl in his house, with residents threatening to take action themselves.
Police have confirmed the man had been out on parole for two months and say additional charges may be added.
