Masemola calling parents of Westbury teenagers report them for shooting

JOHANNESBURG - A parent has come forward to assist the police in connection with the shooting in Westbury on Tuesday.

National Police Commissioner Fannie Masemola is calling on more parents to come forward with information on their own children.

Police are hot on the heels of four teenagers who ambushed seven others at a house in Westbury in Johannesburg's southwest.

The four teenagers shot at the seven, killing two and injuring five, before setting off on foot.

Preliminary investigations suggest the incident was gang-related.
